Where are you in your cycle: CD31 chart?

Symptoms if they apply: I think my breasts are starting to feel big.

When are you thinking of testing: today? tomorrow? can I wait? do I have to?

Thoughts: I already believe!

Appointments: Gotta make one.

Any new regimes, ie herbs, medications, mantras etc:
Royal Jelly - not sure if I need to continue once I get a positive
B-6, Maca, Walnuts - will continue.
Pineapple - not in season though I managed to get some and ate it 2-3 times during the 2ww.
EPO - planning to save it up for the end of the term (assuming positive this cycle)

Do you have any stress triggers: well, not really. I sometimes worry about another mc, but am pretty good at not thinking about that and staying positive.

What is working to help you be stress-free this cycle: my dd

Partners feelings if applicable: Has always been ambivalent, but very supportive of my desire to have another baby. Now starting to get excited too.

Plans for this weekend: Setting up our compost system.
Looks wicked!

Where are you in your cycle: I'm not sure really...I don't keep track. I guess the middle? I'm supposed to get AF in a couple of weeks.

Symptoms if they apply: Exhaustion! I also got randomly nauseated the other day. Swollen girlie bits.

When are you thinking of testing: If I'm late...

Thoughts: I'm excited about trying for number 2

Appointments: None

Any new regimes, ie herbs, medications, mantras etc: None

Do you have any stress triggers: My son has started throwing screaming fits when he doesn't get his way...teething...and my parents suck.

What is working to help you be stress-free this cycle: Lots of sex with DH (can I say that? lol)

Partners feelings if applicable: Excited

Plans for this weekend: Cleaning (as it is most weekends)

Bio: DH is American Airforce. We've been married 3.5 years. We have one son, Franklin, who will be one year on April 15th! We're both in our 20s. We've been TTC for about a month now. I don't have a chart really...I mean, I use FF to track when AF is supposed to come, but I don't temp or anything. (I'm VERY low stress/obsess like that)
Welcome! And thank you for bringing your zen for this thread.

We were planning to start in March, but I had to have my wisdom teeth out b/c of an infection, which pushed everything back, and some of the other stuff I want to finish first is taking longer than I planned it to. We are newly married (together a couple of years firts), I've always wanted to be a SAHM--currently a SAHW. Worked as a nanny, Postpartum Doula, Birth Doula, etc for a few years before getting married. Will probably lurk a lot until we actually start TTC.

Chart: I chart on paper, but I'm going to try Fertility Friend. If I like it, I'll post a link here.
Awesome! Welcome to our thread. If you want a fertility friend invite, PM me your email address.

hesperia- glad things are going good for you.

i am on cycle 4 now. i noticed in our bios, it says cycle 2 for me- but listen, hesperia, isn't it kinda too much work for you to try to keep with what number cycle we are all on? i dont mind if you take that off my bio so you dont have to worry about updating it all the time. you've got enough on your hands- the thread has been busy lately! i think we all want to keep things as simple as possible for you...

So, what are your secrets for not stressing during the TWW? It took us years to conceive the first time but this is our first cycle in four years and I don't seem to know how to not stress out over it any more (that or I never relaxed the first time - that's more likely ).

I'm trying to spend a lot of time with DS and keep my self occupied during any down time (reading is a biggie) but my biggest problem is at work! Even though I'm busy, my mind just wanders that way!

I have no secrets because I actually don't belong in this thread. I'm just a poser.

No really, I guess for me, even though I really, really REALLY (please gods!) want another (or 2 or 3 or 4) babies, I know that I really would be ok if I don't have any more. I have big plans for myself. I have a bright future with a plan for work and home life that I am passionate about, and I have a great husband and family that would make my life complete. And I also have a deep belief that everything that happens, should happen, and everything that should happen, will happen. If I don't conceive again, that is how my life was meant to be.

At least, that is my theory for now.

thanks, MoOnFiReGlOw

how to avoid stressing during 2ww

1) run around in search of pineapple (fresh)
2) give yourself a date that is at least 1 day past when af is due and tell yourself you arent going to so much as LOOK at your underwear let alone pee before that day.
3) starting 3 days before af is due, be sure to wear dark underwear.
4) think of the reasons it might actually be better next month than this month. e.g. get regular with exercise / prenatals. if you're over 35, more time to take the supposedly rejuvenating royal jelly. finish x project. take y trip. have tooth pulled. any other required dental / medical work. you get the picture? pretty soon you can work yourself up to the point where you actually will be happy to get af.

Hi! Here's my introduction.

Michelle/Finnegansmom
http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/1bc90f

I'm 38, I have 2 son - a 3.5 year old and a 20 month old I am still nursing. We have been trying for #3 since last July but since we sold a house, moved and had a death in our family last summer/fall it was very challenging and my cycles were very erratic. I got pregnant at the end of November but we found out at our 12 week appt that the baby had passed away around 10 weeks, at the end of January. This is my 3rd post-miscarraige cycle. I know everyone has said that it's easier to get pregnant after a MC but maybe not for me. Anyways, I chart/temp, use OPKs, and take b6 and Maca to help regulate my cycles. I work from home, my husband is in school, and we hope to have a 3rd (our last) before I'm too old. I really need to destress about the whole TTC experience. I was very peacful about it last fall and didn't stress throughout the whole pregnancy (albeit short) but since the MC I've felt an urgent need (almost frantic) to get pregnant again. This cycle I'm going to relax and see if I can make it to my AF due day (12 dpo? 13 dpo?) without testing.

Wow, I am really being tested on that belief right now. I didn't think I would be applying it quite this way, though. Things have really taken an unexpected turn today re: jobs and money and my ability to stay home and care for a new babe vs my husband quitting his job to stay home vs sending a very young babe to daycare. With this new change, it would make it really, really difficult for us if we conceived right now (and for the next several months). So, I guess we are no longer officially TTC, and we are anxious to see if I am pregnant, more so to see a BFN than a BFP. I feel like there is a heavy weight on me right now, and I have no idea how we are going to do this if I am pregnant.

Don't worry hun, things always work out. When I found out we were pregnant with our first neither me nor dh had a job/house or place to stay! All we had was a car We ended up making it fine though, and I'm sure you will too!

Thanks, I'll think about it. I'm really liking the chart options I see at TCOYF, so I'll have to find out more about that site.

I really need to vent. I feel like crap today, and even though I'm not officially TTC yet, this seems like the thread to post it in.

I had a preconception well woman/pap visit with a lovely home birth midwife on Monday and my whole pelvis has been just hurting ever since. My cervix got really sore, and now I seem to have an irritated bladder (again), and I almost feel sick, but not quite. I'm taking cranberry (freeze dried capsules) and nettle and echanacea teas. I have uva ursi on hand if it gets worse. UGH!

I'm on CD14, probably 2dpo, although my temps haven't gone up as much as I'd like to see them. I'm new to temping--have charted with billings method (CF & CP only) for years. So I'm still trying to figure out this whole temping thing, esp. since if I wake up in the wee hours of the morning, within 3 hours of when I'm planning to temp about 1 day of every 3. I'll have to join an on-line site and ask you folks to take a look at my chart.

TIA for your support. I've been lurking for a month or so, and this just seems like such a lovely group of people.

Oh no! That doesn't sound too good at all. You have some pretty awesome and powerful herbs there to take care of it though! Hopefully it gets better for you so you don't have to pull out the big guns.

I use tcoyf and love it They have a beta program they are testing so you can get it for free right now. I wouldn't worry too much about the temps at first, just log them and you will start to notice a pattern. I've found that my temp doesn't change overly much if I wake up during the night and go back to sleep. It really doesn't change even if I go to the restroom and then go back to bed and temp an hour later! Each person is different though and I'm sure you will find out tricks that will help you temping wise.

I'd love to check out your chart when you get one up!

AFM - I'm so excited ladies! I've had 5 high temps now, so it looks like the impossible has happened, I've O'd like a normal person instead of day 25 or so!! I'm just so happy over O'ing at a normal time I don't care about the outcome of this month (isn't that horrible!!). My chart is even picture perfect! **sigh** its nice when your body does what it is supposed to!

Thanks for the info. I'll see what my temps do over the next few cycles. I'm not too worried about that.

And I'm already starting to feel a little better thanks to the herbs.

Congrats on your body working "normally" (what is normal anyhoo?)!
