Ack... rayon/polyester blend my only choice for maternity clothes?

I'm needing some new maternity duds this time around. I'm looking for something fairly professional (I work in a "business casual" work environment, but it's flexible so I don't need to be looking too awesome ), but it seems like EVERYTHING maternity-geared is some sort of hideous stretchy blend.

Anyone know a good source for natural fiber, but not too hippie-dippie, clothes? If I showed up at work in a sarong, for example, I might get funny looks (also, frostbite).

some of these are quite cute and still professional-ish

not necessarily button-up but definitely nicer than wear-around-the-house clothes.

Ooh, nice. Little pricey, but tax returns are a-comin'...

Now, to find a company that makes maternity clothing for women with ridiculously long torsos. Ah, who am I kidding, my tummy'll be hanging out the last month no matter what.

that (and inability to find maternity pants that fit) is why I got my bella bands.

I need to get some this time around. I'm 5'11", and still wear "average" length jeans, so all my height is in my midsection. I actually buy maternity shirts (the tight ones) when I'm NOT pregnant because they're actually long enough. My tummy starts growing and there's no shirt long enough to contain it .

They make organic ones too I really do suggest them they have saved me a lot of pain and embarrassment.

See, last time around, I wasn't working, or even seeing anyone I knew, for the last month. I lived in a place with no doctors or nurses, so was required to vacate my home and go hang out in Anchorage at 36 weeks (DS was born at 41). Since it was just me wandering around a city where I know virtually no one, I didn't feel bad (a) wearing the same shirt pretty much every day, and (b) showing a little under-tummy.

This time around, I'm living where there is adequate emergency "just in case" medical care, so I'm "allowed" to stay home, which means I'll be working and, you know, bumming around a town where I actually know people. I figure I should be a little more concerned about my appearance this time around .

I don't know if they do online ordering, but I had good luck finding inexpensive yet decent (and cotton) clothes at Kohl's. Granted, that was almost 3 years ago, but they may still have a decent selection.

WalMart online has some cotton maternity clothing.
Land's End has low maternity stock that comes and goes, but their clothing is quality and cotton.
I have a few pieces from Motherhood maternity and a few other providers that are cotton, but I'll have to check the labels later. Most of my career maternity wear has come from thrift stores.

I've gotten some really nice cotton maternity tops from Old Navy. Most of their pants are a cotton blend, so I don't know if you'd be interested in those. I wear ON maternity to work all the time.

Ooh, I had forgotten all about Land's End (which is kind of dumb of me since their call center/shipping is in my hometown and my sister used to work for them ). Sadly, looks like their entire selction of maternity clothing is currently one shirt. They DO make boot-cut 100% cotton jeans, though... I was about to buy a pair when I got preggo. So sick of jeans with lycra/whatever in them.

A Couple Ideas

If you're not opposed to wearing secondhand clothes, you might try an upscale children's resale shop...many of them carry maternity clothes for a fraction of the price of new.

Other than that, I have found nice cotton maternity shirts at Kohl's.

You have to check labels, but I've done well at Target finding cotton clothing that's a step up from casual wear.
