farmer's market / natural learning etc in Mumbai

Hi - An organic farmer's market has started on Sundays in Mumbai. Some of us interested in learning at home & beyond have thought of meeting there.

I thought I would post here to see if any others wanted to join us. From what few emails we have exchanged, it seems that we share a number of common interests, eg natural birth etc. If there are other MDC'ers in Mumbai, this would be a lovely place to meet. The location is Nilgiri Garden in Bandra (W).

If you can make it this Sunday and/or any of the 2 Sundays after, please enter your time preference at this poll: http://www.doodle.com/zizxviz4bmmurqq6
Let's try to meet!
Hope to see you there!

Mumbai Farmer's Market was on a brief monsoon break but will be back in October, same place, new time - Sundays at 12 noon - 7 pm!

The Farmers' Market
Nilgiri Garden,
Bandra Hindu Association,
Linking Road,
Bandra (W)

South-West of National College
Opposite The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf/Amarsons

I am still hoping to make this a gathering place for free learners / homechoolers in Mumbai. Anyone interested?

Hoping & looking forward,
Aravinda

Mumbai Farmer's Market is going strong and a great place to meet.

Free charkha (spinning) lessons as well.

I will be there this Sunday - the location is Bhalla House, opposite St. Andrew's Church in Bandra.

Hi everyone!  I will be welcoming the New Year at the Mumbai Organic Farmer's Market tomorrow.  Hope to see you there!  More info here: Organic Farmer's Market

Over the past year or two there have been more homeschoolers showing up, articles and news programs, and a number of support groups have formed too, with talk of setting up a national group.  I made kind of a list of them here

Happy New Year!
