Well, my midwife called ME and told me to come up and get checked....how's that for service? Last night was a horrendous night and though she thought I should wait awhile longer when I called her around 3 in the morning, I guess she thought she'd hear from me by now and called my cell phone to find out what was up just a short bit ago....she's worried about all my lack of sleep and what this is doing to me and wants to check and possibly discuss helping things along if nothing has changed......so off we go....wish me luck! This is ridiculous and really depriving me of sanity....
last night they began again with ligament pain and nerve pain down my legs...avg of 8-10 minutes apart very very strong for about 3 and a half hours, regardless of position, though walking was slightly less intense..... irregular for about an hour or so....then....went to bed and actually fell asleep....for maybe an hour...woke up to two really intense ones...then the intensity tapered off for about an hour and a half but were between 3 to 3 and a half minutes! My midwife suggested taking a bath to see if they would calm before traveling 35 minutes to get checked....in the bath the contractions were no more than 3 minutes and more intense....but I felt really really tired so when I got out I asked dh if I should lay down for just a bit, he agreed (I'd only had about an hour of sleep and this was at about 4 in the morning)...I actually DID fall asleep.....only to wake up less than an hour later with intense contractions 4 min apart for 20 minutes and then got irregular again though remained strong for about an hour before tapering off and got totally irregular again....I finally thought maybe I could lay down around 9 am this morning and did sleep but woke up to a contraction every 5-8 minutes......not mild, but not intense.....had one intense one since I've been up for the past 30 min, and a few less intense......
my stomach aches from intestinal cramping in between....had a few bms that were somewhat loose....no extra mucus, no water, no bloody show.....I'm going nuts...I can't do this....how long will this last of forever contractions that don't seem to be leading anywhere????
