Shave Minimizing Lotion

I know it probably isn't natural but didn't see another "body care" forum.

There used to be many shave minimizing lotions, but now I don't see them. I used it many years ago and loved it and want to know if any of you know why they aren't available - were there bad chemicals in them? How bad are they for you?

My guess is that they were just as bad for you as regular, mainstream lotion and that they weren't effective as a "shave-minimizer". I wonder how a lotion can do that in the first place.
