Yesterday I put this in my due date thread (due July 22), but am hoping for some more advice here...
One of my biggest worries when I got pregnant was getting sick. When I get sick 99% of the time it turns into bronchitis. Asthmatic bronchitis. Where I need an inhaler to breathe. Well, I got sick while on the cruise. And the ear ache on the way home was excruciating (still haven't popped, but no longer hurting thankfully). But what can I do about this cold?
I called the emergency number for my MW while in Miami and she OKd Sudafed for me, whichever one I needed that covered the least amount of symptoms. I got the kind that's 2 pills every 4 - 6 hours and took 2 Saturday (4 hours apart) and 1 Sunday morning. I'd rather not continue with them....
I did a search here but as you can imagine the word 'sick' is too general. All I got is use the Neti pot (a last resort for me), and emergen-c is fine to use (yay!). This issue of Mothering had a recipe for ginger something something we're going to make today. My shower doesn't get hot enough to really give a good steaming and I don't have a bathtub AND I have to go back to work tomorrow.
Please someone tell me something that will help!!
That was yesterday, I called in sick to work today and am in bed. I had strawberries with breakfast, have a cup of blueberry green tea (too tired to peel ginger etc) and a glass of emergenc next to me. Any other advice? TIA

Just an extreme dislike of the sensation. Maybe I should just suck it up and do it anyway. Sigh.
