Recommend a quality but affordable art kit...

My DD2 is turning six in May and has become quite the little artist. She really, really enjoys drawing, sketching, and painting. I am looking for a "kit" in that it would be self-contained and an easy way for her to keep her own, special instruments together for her use. The ideal kit would be good quality, with a variety of items (not just 1000 crayons, or something), but still affordable. Do you have a favorite you'd like to recommend?

TIA!

I've always had better luck creating a kit. You can grab a make-up organizer to keep it all in, the little sections are great. Or, a very creative way to store I saw was to acquire a bunch of those zippered pencil bags that go in three ring binders. One supply in each. That mom used two colors. One color meant her DD could use them any time. The other color meant there were special rules. Chalk pastels needed to be used on top of a drop cloth or newspaper, glitter needed to have a tray or drop cloth, that kind of thing.

Oooooh... that sounds good... good idea.
Wonder if I can put all that together without her seeing it ahead of time.
