Does anyone have any suggestions for 6th grade science curriculum? Our local district does "earth science" for 6th grade.

Have you looked My Pals Are Here Science by Singapore? I'm planning to order the 5/6 textbooks and activity books. There are also teacher's guides and a few other optional books. They also have books for higher grades if these seem too 'young' for your child. The books are meant to last two years if you order them all. There are experiments and questions to answer in the activity books. The textbooks are very colorful with pictures and little text per page, so an easy, fast read for each topic. There are samples on the site. I'm not sure what you're looking for in a Science curriculum, secular, Christian, advanced, hands on, etc?

Secular or not?
I don't actually have any amazing suggestions but I hope others will!
I just ordered Joy Hakim's 2nd book in the Story of Science collection plus the teacher & student guides for my son who is in 6th grade this yr. I'm so excited to get a real look at them, I check out the window for the UPS truck every 42 seconds.
This may turn out to be all we need to take us through next year, but I'm not sure yet. Plus my son is such an enormous science lover that I'd love to hear what else is out there!
