I might have felt the first kick this morning when i first woke up. *I was laying on my side, completely relaxaed, stomach completely loose from sleeping. *I felt a kick. *I'm just not sure if I was fully awake or dreaming.

Nope this is my 3rd anterior placenta and my last baby. Grrr. The only flutters I felt were too high so it was just gas. Hopefully soon. I am not very big so I don't feel pregnant right now.

Whee! Definately a kick today. *I bent over to get some sweet potatoes out the crisper for dinner and it felt like someone stuck their finger in my stomach. *I thought it was ds but I looked up and realized he was too far away. *Hee hee it was the new baby.

I haven't felt anything yet, but it's my first and maybe I don't know yet what I am feeling?

I felt the baby kick my hand for the first time today! 17wks 2days. She kicked and I put my hand in that spot, then she kicked again.

The movements are my FAVORITE part of pregnancy! I'm so glad it's finally here!

This baby is either lazy/sleepy (barely moved on any of the 3 ultrasounds, and they lasted quite a while!) or just kicking toward my back and the placenta on the left. Once in a great while, I think I feel something, but it's just too fleeting and too like gas to be sure.

I think I felt something today! Just for a few seconds. It was like a little poke from the inside, then some wiggles and then another poke. I tried to poke back after it stopped to see if I could get baby to move again, but it didn't work. I couldn't easily explain it away this time, so I think it might have really been movement!

17 weeks here and feeling only the light burbles and flicks, I feel them regularly, most every day, but nothing strong, no big kicks. I expect them soon though, I'm a little surprised I'm not feeling more at this point. I think it was 16 weeks with my last when I was feeling stronger daily movement. I'm wondering if I'm just so much busier this time I'm just not noticing? I never seem to take time to hold still, and I've been sick the last week or so too.

Some little taps here. First felt them unmistakably last week (at 15 weeks), been feeling them sporadically since then. Last night a series of the strongest taps yet.

With my first I was feeling flutters at 16 weeks, but wasn't SURE until like 18 weeks. And even that is a bit early, I think the norm for a first-timer is like 20 weeks.

Lately mine are getting to be less and less... I think baby is moving up behind my tummy fat and away from my extremely sensitive lower abdomen. Before long the kicks will be strong enough to feel through there as well though! And then DD and DS will get to start feeling them!

Not feeling anything yet at 17w5d, but this is my first, and I'm a chubby mama.

A few of my friends have said that with their firsts they didn't feel anything until 20-22 weeks, so I figure I have some time to go.

Looking forward to Thursday, though, when DH and I go for the anatomy scan, if the bean sprout isn't feeling shy!

Of course, you COULD be feeling it and not realize it too

Most of us with our first (and myself with my second...) spend a couple weeks feeling it before we realize OMG that was baby!

I think this is also what's happening to me. I've been feeling baby squirm since about 10 weeks, but lately I feel it less than I was. I still feel baby every day, but sometimes it's just a couple of squirms and sometimes there's fireworks going on in there all day long. I can't wait until the "oh that's definitely an elbow I see there" stage

Ha! Definitely a possibility, since this is my first rodeo!

I think I need a definitive kick before I will finally realize, oh, the baby's saying howdy.

I felt my first kick distinctly when I was still in the biggest pain from my herniated disc. I remember thinking it was the baby trying to help me get my mind off the pain. It was just a light kick, but clearly the baby...that was about 10 weeks along. I'm still feeling flutters, but no real kicks. I'm kind of surprised since this is my 5th and I know I felt my last babies more strongly before this...I'll be 19 weeks on Wednesday. And for me, it definitely isn't that I'm too busy! I'm still in recovery mode from my surgery and not able to do much yet.

You probably are feeling the baby, just not realizing it. I felt my first a LOT later than this one, but now, with experience, I know what is the babe and what is me.

Little rolling motions and flutters, down low almost at your pubic bone is what to look for.

It's so exciting no matter how many pregnancies it's been!

i have felt the baby move a few times in the past week.
ofcourse it's always when i'm not really paying attention to my stomach and theres this "whoa! wait.. waht was that? the baby?! Oh My - Do It Again!"

at which point it doesn't.

Today my older daughter got to feel a kick. She poked him/her and he poked right back! She thought it was hysterical.

I am feeling the baby squirm and a little pressure now and then. I felt it for the first time forever ago...like at 9 weeks or so, but it has been so inconsistent, I haven't been confident of anything. Quite often I've told dh, "I just felt the baby!" But then, two seconds later, I'm not sure.

I have noticed that for weeks now I have been pretty confident I'm feeling the baby on Sundays during Bible study. That is the only time of my life when I am sitting for 2 hours and being still...and awake. So...I think I've just been too busy to feel it much, though it's been there.
