On-line charting site question

I've noticed that most people here at MDC who post their charts use Fertility Friend, but when I went to sign up, it said it was for people TTC only.

Is there a reason ppl use it even when they're CTA? Do folks sign up and never drop their accounts even after conceiving?

Does anyone use another site for charting?

I'm just curious. I've been charting on paper for years, but I'm considering trying out using an on-line chart and I was wondering why FF seems to be the "favorite" site around here.

I found this site http://www.myfertilitycharts.com/ which claims to support both TTC and CTA, and I was wondering if there is a reason I don't see a lot of links to charts on that site. Is FF better, easier to use, or something?

We used FF for CTA... the reason it says that is to protect their butts from getting sued over ladies using it to CTA and getting pregnant anyway (hehe says the 16 week pregnant lady who was hoping not to get pregnant until after July.... but mines not a CTA fault so much as a DF-didnt-want-to-wait fault)

I use FF for CTA as well, I am unable to use hormonal birth control and I like having a place to keep all my charts. One day I hope to use it to TTC and then again we'll be CTA...

As Mae stated I have to imagine they say it's only for TTC for liability purposes. It honestly doesn't matter what charting software you are using you can't rely on the computer to "tell" you when you're safe or not.

ETA: I have not used the other site you mentioned, I find FF to be very user-friendly, it's easy to link to and I like thier charts.

I used FF when I conceived my first, and just recently looked up my password info again to use them for our next attempt. They still had all the data I input, from 2007. I input several past charts, just to give FF my history. I honestly don't know how "smart" their software is, or if my history is taken into account much, but it's nice to have it in there.

I don't like FF. I use go28days.com.

The reason most people use FF is that it has the automatic analyzer. I think the automatic analyzer is the reason that FF says it's only for people TTC.
