Holey Jeans

Thread Starter
Having two little boys I have a plethora of holey jeans. I don't want to cut them off for shorts and I don't want to throw them away. What should I do with them? If I donate them will they get thrown away by Goodwill? I'd like someone else to have the opportunity to cut them off or use them for something.

I believe Gap is recycling jeans for insulation. You could check into that or cut squares and make a thick quilt.

I give them to my mom because she makes quilts out of them. You might post an ad on craigslist and see if any one would want them.

What about listing them on Craigslist under the craft/art section. Perhaps someone who is crafty could use them to create other things. Freecycle even?
