I got one for my birthday this year, and I totally love it- completely idiot-proof, which I need, because when it comes to gardening, I'm a complete idiot.
I just finished up with my Herb kit- I grew mass amounts of basil, parsley, mint, oregano, savoury and marjoram and have just planted my tomato kit.
Has anyone used one to start seeds to be replants outside? I know you can get blank pods to put your own seeds in, and it might be worthwhile for me to do so, since we have such a short growing season here (I live in Edmonton, AB- Zone 3a)
My mum also suggested to use peat pots and cover the growing surface of the Aerogarden with a board and to just use the grow lights.. Has anyone done anything like this before?
