Small head circumference

Had our 6 week check at 8 weeks yesterday and the doc said my ds head is measuring a bit small, 53 cm. Should I start worrying? I am having trouble finding anything in my online searches, which I am hoping is a good thing. In terms of length and weight he is at the 50% percentile. Although I am quite impressed he has gained 4lbs in 7wks 5days and we are EBF!! Anyway I had always thought his head was small but I figured that was because ds1 had a BIG head. Everything else is right or beyond for his age.

I am now thinking they might have goofed the measurement... I will measure his head when he wakes from his nap.

53 cm? thats like 20.8". my dd's was 13 1/2" (34.3 cm)at birth and 16 1/2"(41.9 cm) at 6 mos (4.7 mos adjusted).

Yeah I am waiting for my doc's receptionist to get back to me with the measurements. I realized that 53cm was a pretty big head!! Will post once I get the right info.
