list of questions to ask for friend deciding between OB and midwife (birthing center)

Hello all:

We had a homebirth and I tend to lean in that direction when I talk to friends. I have a friend about to tour her birthing center adn also meet with her OB (who she loves)

does anyone have a list of suggested questions to ask both the OB and the birthing center?

thanks- I mean, I told her about c-scection rates, food restrictions..some other things but wondering if there is a resource for this kind of thing.


I guess teh other thing is : what are the main differences in experience in both situations? I have a laundry list of things but feel like I did a poor job explaining because I never looked into the OB path

Here's a good list and it shows the range of answers she might get from the most high-intervention care providers to the lowest. Hopefully this will help her see the differences in philosophies.
