Church Nursery Question

Hi,
does anyone know if it's legal to separate vaccinated and unvaccinated children in a church nursery? They worry about the babies 6mo and under. I thought that a church being a private institution can do that but I was just wondering.

In PA?

Do they only do it for 6 months and younger? What about older vaced kids? under 6 months were are not even talking MMR

Unless they get any money for the state or feds I would say they have all the right to do as they wish. Do they go on some honor system?

Is this only during "service" or is this a day care type thing?

Yes, in Pa.
6mo and under only because they say those babies are unprotected from the unvaxxed kids. Yes, only during the service.
No, no honor system that I know of.
But I guess you're right, they'll do as they want.

Unless they are requiring proof of vaccination, then it is on the "honor system."

I would ask if EVERY nursery worker is up on their vaccines. True the MMR is not given until 12-15 months.

are you lucky? don't they vac at 2months like most mainstream? WOW!

are you only talking 45 to an hour service?- that's really cool!!!!

I would hope they also don't allow sick/colds as well in!!

Yes. And they do allow sick kids all the time.

I guess I'm just going to have to deal with this.
