we should be getting our very ugly mint green siding replaced this spring
and I am
thinking about colors. I'm not really picky but it's fun to think about options. So, I've been driving around looking at houses to see what Ilike best. My favorite are sagey greens, but I think that may be too trendy you know? We have a small cape style house with a sun porch on the front. I live in Maine so we are foliage-less for much of the year. The houses right next to us are white and yellow. (does that matter?) Oh and the roof is black shingles. We will be having the eaves and and around the doors and windows done- I think that needs to be white.
Thanks

I prefer something timeless. We painted our white farmhouse two years ago...you guessed it, white. I couldn't bring myself to change the color. Sage green would look very nice, I don't think it's too trendy.
I know, unoriginal. My advice would be to go for something classic vs trendy (which would soon look dated) and to make sure you don't clash with the neighbours.
