anyone catching damien rice on this coming tour?

i am i am!! i am so excited!!!

but i'm more excited about the opening band, my number one all-time favorite band: The Frames.

i can't believe i'm getting both in one night.
i'm a irish folk/rock fanatic. i followed the frames from NY to atlanta (where coldplay ended up crashing the show and they all played together in this TINY bar!!!) in 2002, went to ireland just to see 4 of their shows (and also caught damien live there for the first time). i mean, I seriously LOVE this band. damien used to open for them in ireland just a couple of years ago and now look at him now!

anyway, i'm crazy happy about this gig. can you tell?

we have to make sure we talk about how it went-- i'm sure it'll be amazing.

and seriously, DO NOT miss the opening act. the frames are incomparable.


eta-- you won't be disspaointed with damien. i've seen him about 5 times and he never ceases to blow my mind. his band is outstanding as well. and lisa, oh, lisa has the voice of an angel. i'm so excited!!
