Help! DH wants to chelate!

Point me in the right direction!

While helping out our DD recently with a rash and food intolerances, we came across info about mercury problems (stored in the yeast) and other issues.

Anyways, it was enough to get DH thinking about his health. He has one mercury amalgram and wonders also about his vaccinations and vaccine reactions.

He has tried unsuccessfully several times to adopt an exercise routine. Each time, he experiences severe migraines after losing a few pounds. Bad enough to keep him home from work. He also breaks out in a rash. Now he is wondering if this is related to mercury in his body.

I fully support him wanting to remove the filling and detox, but I know "enough" (which isn't much ) to know that there are right ways and wrong ways to go about it...

Can anyone point me in the right direction???

The next thread down is the Chelating Mamas thread. Despite the name, it's appropriate for him as well, he wouldn't need to be as careful as potentially-pregnant-in-the-future women.

Even just look through the last 5 pages or so, there's discussion of health issues that cluster that can be related--his family history, his personal health history, for me it's been very helpful.

Other places to read--google moriam Cutler mercury (I'm on a different computer, no bookmarks), for discussion of Cutler's guidelines on chelation.

A couple yahoo groups, autism mercury and frequent dose chelation, the latter is for adults but is heavily populated with really sick people. The lightly sick and moderately sick are there as well, but less vocal, so just remember that the issues are not representative of the group as a whole.

Overall--for safety issues, look to discussions of ASD kids. The discussion of safety for adults is not nearly as robust as the discussion for kids--though if an adult is no longer able to work, that's a pretty big deal to the individual and the family, so safety really is important for everyone.
