Ds is getting one chocolate bunny, some Trader Joes jelly beans, a frisbee, stickers, and 3' stuffed green rattlesnake he is going to love.

We usually put in either sidewalk chalk or bubbles. They seem like nice springtime gifts. We've also put in PlayDoh.
I like the gardening ideas people have mentioned here in the past...gloves, seeds, etc. - but, while dd1 would probably love it, ds2 would think the bunny had lost his mind. Maybe next year. Let's see...pinwheels, skipping ropes, stuffies (we like stuffies around here - well, everyone except dh). I'm afraid we mostly do candy, although I'm going to cut back this year. I've had a tendency to go overboard. It never mattered much with ds1, because he could take it or leave it (but was really excited about getting it)...but ds2 and even dd1, to a lesser extent, are sugar junkies. My kids also get a big basket of assorted fruit from my mom. They love that...but it is food. ![]() |
