I was working from home doing iPhone development before babe was born. I've been wanting to do some ipad development but I don't really have the time/focus. It would probably take me at least a good 12 hour chunk of time away from dd to learn the sdk, which would be extremely difficult for the both of us. And then, I don't even know how much work I could even get done in the two one hour naps she takes, the only time I could work during the day.
I don't want to kill my career after taking such a long hiatus child-rearing. Please advise! I'd especially like to hear from engineers.
