I keep forgetting where I post, is there anyway to check threads I've posted in?

I write a thread or post, but then I forget where it is or what it was about or something, and I can't find it. Is there any feature for keeping track of where you post and finding that thread again?

Oh wow, I'm surprised no one has responded yet! You can choose an option to subscribe to all the threads you post on, and then you can click on "User CP" at the top of the page and you'll see a list of all those threads. The ones that have gotten new replies since you last logged on will be there automatically, and you can also press "see all threads" (or whatever it says), to see every thread you're subscribed to. You can also choose to have an email sent to you every time a new post is made on your subscribed threads, but you'd probably only want to do that if you don't post much.

ETA: Ok, here's how you do it. Click on "User CP", then "Edit Options", then under "Default Thread Subscription Mode", choose how you want to be notified of new posts, just don't choose "Do not subscribe." If you choose no email notification, it will still list the threads every time you hit "User CP", but it won't notify you via email.

Hope that made sense! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Oh you can also just click on your username, and then click on "find more posts by samy23", and it will list all of your posts.

So, today I clicked on "Find more posts" when I clicked on my user name, and all of the threads that I posted to yesterday are not showing up. Am I doing something wrong?

I am also having issues

Any posts I have made since april 15 are not showing up when I ask to see all posts... there seems to be a problem with the search feature perhaps? Hoping it is fixed soon, because that is how I check up on people's threads I have posted to...

Did you check in your edit options to make sure that the setting for subscribing to threads didnt get unchecked during the upgrade?

Click User CP, Edit Options and scroll down to the Default Thread Subscription Mode and choose No Email Notification or any of the other options to automatically subscribe to threads.

Huh yeah my recent posts aren't showing up either. Someone should probably start a new thread for that.

My subscribed threads are working fine though.

It is SO much easier to just automatically subscribe to all the threads you've posted to. That way, you can just hit "User CP," and get a list of all the threads you've posted to that have new replies. Also, if you click on the little arrow before the thread title, it brings you to the last post made since you last logged in, so you don't have to go searching for the most recent post.

Well, yes, that would solve the problem, but I like to only sub to a few threads and receive email notification for those. For the other ones that I subscribe to, I usually just click on my user name for "find more threads by Pumpkin_Pie" to check up on those. If I subscribe to all, my inbox will become completely clogged. If I choose to not have instant email notification, I will potentially miss posts that I am waiting for (Chicken Pox threads for instance that are time sensitive). This is very frustrating...

Also, I just checked my very small list of subscribed threads, and one that I am subscribed to actually had a post yesterday that I did not receive notification for. I am subbed and am supposed to receive instant email notification, but did not receive an email. Grrrr....

Weird! There was a search hiccup the other day that was resolved, but this sounds new. I'm alerting admin right now.

OK - I've duplicated the issue and noted what I found and am passing that data on.

Thanks so much for the head's up!

Oh yes, generally it is good to start a new thread for a new issue.

I am seeing the same problem. I will check on that.
