HELP! Need good wheat bread recipe

I have tried recipe after recipe after recipe of Breadmachine Wheat bread recipes and all of them are aweful!! They come out hard and really weird texture. Does anyone have a TRIED AND TRUE recipe for bread in a breadmachine? It doesnt have to be full wheat, It can be 1/2 wheat 1/2 white.
