Nursing Mamas TTC April - Page 2

Congrats Wildcat!!

Can I be moved to Waiting to be Ready, please? I have to travel a bunch in December/January so we have to wait for a Feb due date. Although I'm feeling impatient about it. FF and I agree that I did ov a few days ago, though, so now just hoping my LP gets longer this time! (4/5 days last cycle ) At least that gives me something to obsess over for now!

Baby dust to everyone!!

Congrats Wildecat!

I am waiting to O. Started temping and should O next week sometime. I'm currently trying to eat better so I can loose some weight. Plus I've started exercising (again) and am taking a pre-natal, liquid Vitamin D, Maca, and iron pills (also had low iron last pregnancy).

This month has a lovely start with a BFP in the group already. Hopefully many more to come.

I'm pretty sure I'm still in the waiting to O group. I tend to have O pain that is rather accurate and it hasn't shown up yet this cycle. I'm impressed at the ladies who manage to cosleep, nurse and temp in the morning. I rarely get three hours in a row in the early morning and am usually hoping to get a bit more sleep when my son awakens at the crack of dawn - nevermind thinking to grab a thermometer.

snuggly - My guy is high energy as well. I don't know where he gets it all from!

Thank you all for the congratulations I guess I am 3weeks, 3 days pregnant and can be moved to success stories for april. Wow, this is so early to find out! I have not told DH yet and might wait until I don't know when because although he knows where babies come from he only was willing to have another to keep me happy I am glad I can find much needed support here.

Hi Ladies! I'm pretty new here and I hope you don't mind me joining you
My youngest babe is turning 1 year old this month and I'm ready to start tracking my cycles, if I had cycles to track! No ppaf yet, but some vague signs of off and on fertile cm and cramping. I'm going to start Vitex tonight so maybe I'll kick my ovaries into gear.

Nice to meet you all!!!

Anyone in the group with an older baby? DD is 21mo - anyone else in the same boat? She's been teething a TON lately (dang 2 yo molars) so sleep and nursing makes me feel like I'm wrangling a wild boar all night as she climbs over me to get to DatOne (the other side). So far I'm on CD7 of first AF (4 days heavy, 3 days medium) since the m/c and it's been AWFUL - to the point where I am feeling really anemic. I'm going to start taking iron and yellowdock tonight, but I read somewhere that lower levels of iron can lead to lowered fertility? Any truth to that?

kalamos23 - I am so very sorry for your loss.

My DD is almost 21 months, as well (on Monday!). I nightweaned her recently because my AF--which had been extraordinarily light since giving birth, anyway--went completely AWOL. I can relate to the wild boar, though! DD goes to "side?" (the other side) all the time when I nurse her, and still does as I nurse her to sleep and when I finally do let her nurse at around 5 in the morning. Plus, to fall back to sleep when she can't nurse, she lays across me. She does sleep a bit longer at a time, but I'm still not getting a whole lot more rest. I have no idea about low iron and fertility. Unfortunately, I still haven't gotten AF or ovulated again, and I'm hoping to not have to make further changes to get things moving again.

Wildecat - Congratulations!!!

It's very light, so I am going to test again in 2-3 days.

ema-adama - I see a line

ema-adama- I definitely see it!! Congrats!!

I can't believe I'm already leaving here....BFP this morning!!! After several faint positives I tried a digital on FMU and there was no guessing.

I'm really in shock and haven't even begun to process all that this means....Especially in terms of DD, who at 31 mos is still nursing quite a bit. I'm so afraid that she's one of those kids who will not skip a beat with nursing even once my supply drops, and want to keep night nursing like last night every 2 hours. But that's a post for a different board heehee.

Good luck and to you all, and thanks for the support!

Wow! congrats to ema-adama and apmama07

April is looking great so far!

AFM, temp dropped this morning again and I'm feeling AF just around the corner (crampy) so it looks like I'm out

chart help please http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/188af4

FF had me O'ing on CD12 and today when temp dropped on CD23, what I thought was 11 DPO...FF took away the crosshairs. Now I'm really confused. Did I not O yet? Or are my temps just too eratic (because of co-sleeping, BF, lack of sleep) for FF to be able to see it clearly?

Wildcat, ema-adama, apmama07 Congrats!

I also have an older toddler (24 months) who is a teething monster who nurses all night ("odder side") and to sleep. I am planning on re-night-weaning her (we had night weaned in Dec which brought back af - finally) soon. Not sure if all the nursing is messing up my o. Just taking a prenatal.

AFM, o should be approaching this week. I'm trying opk for the first time. Do I really have to hold my pee for 4 hours before poas?

::fingers-crossed::

Congrats ema-adama! So many BFPs already!

My baby is 18 months and seems to be weaning herself ( ). I doubt I'll get preggo this cycle since we're not trying super hard, but if I did, that would be great too. I've only been charting 3 days, and each day I wake up at a different time.

Congrats, apmama and ema-adama!
