I hope your next cycle isn't nearly as long to have to go through....just as I hope if AF shows up in the next couple weeks that mine wont be quite so long (day 67 now)....frustrating when I think in 67 days others have had 2 cycles of trying while we have had just the one....and timing it has been a pain in the butt.

I am seriously paying for this long cycle ( it is because I gained about 30 pounds. My periods went crazy.). I have been so sick with it, it's not funny. Yesterday I was home from work because it was like a massacre in my pants.

I hear you all about the frustration about TTC... It took 7 years (plus ovarian drilling, etc) to conceive DS, who is now 3.. I turn 36 on Monday.. and I REALLY want another baby and feel like my clock is ticking (especially since it took so long to conceive DS.. and we would LOVE a much bigger family!)

Praying we all conceive soon!!!

lonegirl and tulsileaf have you tried any herbal remedies like maca or vitex?

I had frustratingly long cycles after DS was born. I took vitex and in in a couple cycles I had a 29-30 cycle. Do some research and see if they may be right for you.

myk I still think it is too soon to tell. The open circles aren't helping either. I know its hard but you should know in a couple days.

AFM: had my lap. surgery yesterday a bit sore today but feel fine. Doctor did find a cyst the size of his thumb near my fallopian tube. No wonder that side was tender during O and during BD. Other than that NO endometriosis. and he said my tubes looked nice and floppy meaning they aren't stuck to anything. I am hoping this "spring cleaning" clears the way for a BFP.

Dee that was great news! I hope you recover quickly and get your BFP!

Ok who is the lucky lady taking over the may thread? Many ladies fall preggo after they are thread keeper for a couple cycles.

This thread is way easier than other threads because we don't update TWW waiting to O info.

Here are the directions:

1.Reply to the opening post of this thread then copy and paste all the text into a new thread.

2.You can really have fun with this and make it cute.

3. You can go back a month in posts and prune the list of ladies who haven't posted in a month or so otherwise the list becomes monstrous.

4. Remove the oldest success stories list in this case the month of Feb. and add an "In May".

That's it!

Bfp!!!!!!

I'm travelling in PA this weekend, alone-and I took a couple of pregnancy tests becaue AF hadn't arrived yet...I'm so in shock! I totally didn't expect this!

Seriously-with my list of symptoms disappearing, I thought for sure I was out of the running this month....does anyone want my (very detailed) TWW info for inspiration?

3 very faint but definately there...BFPs!

====================

Ovulated 2 days early-felt it, at noon. Unfortunately, DH had to go in to the city on an emergency call, and then we had a family chiro appointment, so we didn't get in until very late-both too tired to try.

1dpo: I figure even though we've technically missed the best time to try, I'm 35 years old and my cm isn't regular around my fertile times, so I'd better take every chance I can get. BD at 11am.

2 dpo: very slight cramping/hollow feeling. Waaay to early for symptoms I know, but since I'm watching every little thing now....I thought I'd start my obsessing a little early.

3dpo: twinges on one side down low, backacke- no breast tenderness, though there is the slightest hint of nipple sensitivity-but I am feeling a tad bit more tired. Starting to doubt it worked this time around...very mild nipple tenderness in the PM-some sharper pains on one side down low in my abdommen.

4dpo: Some twinges on right side-felt similar to ovulation, trouble sleeping last night and some dizziness. I suffer from chronic vertigo though, so not sure if this is related. Nipples are a little bit extra sore, but that could just be pre-period stuff. Man this waiting is difficult! Really strong nails-and some constipation....really trying not to get my hopes up only to be disappointed again. But it's hard! Pregnancy strips shipped today...so they should arrive soon! Good thing I bought 5-cuz I know I'll never be able to wait. Some low back ache too...

5dop: increased CM, some small "spots" on my forehead and chin, constipated-no breast changes or discomfort. Tired though-wondering if we did maybe actually just barely make that window of opportunity...still trying not to get too hopeful. I've tricked myself real good before. Still constipated, breasts don't look any fuller, and I'm not sure what the nipples are supposed to look like if I'm still breastfeeding-as they're already huge and dark! lol Grumpy, emotional, tired and "needy". Want to make something strange for dinner but don't have the ingredients.

6dpo: my areola actually seem to be getting lighter and smaller as opposed to darker and bigger. I really am starting to think we didn't get lucky this time around. Peesticks should be arriving by the end of the week, and then the self control of not taking a test until the end of NEXT week begins. I am eating strange things-I was so cold this AM, but still wanted a popsicle with ice cream in the center, which I ate followed by some leftover baked beets from yesterday's dinner. I am feeling constipated and have more creamy cm than usual, but honestly don't know if that is related-I think I might be tricking myself again. No extra peeing, no sore bbs....sigh

7dpo: I'm really convinced now that we didn't "hit a home run" this time. I'm not having really any symptoms. Some heaviness in my lower abdomen, but could be the constipation. I'm not nauseas, my breasts aren't changing or sore, and I really don't 'feel' pregnant. Sigh. I was extremely tired today, and took a nap! Really cranky. Fell right asleep even in the brightness of my bedroom-which is highly unusual for me. I have been craving beets and corn, which may just be a sign of deficiency on my end-eating habits haven't been the greatest lately. I also noticed a touch of heartburn-which I never get. But that might be the icecream I ate. Wish this 2ww was faster! Oh some strange sensations and bloating too...but again, this could be in my head. I'm fully aware of how well I can completely trick myself.

8dpo: Insomnia, and woke up with menstrual cramps...hmmm....maybe there's a glimmer of hope? Very mild cramping and low back discomfort, fatigue and some emotional swings. I got my internet cheapies today, and couldn't resist taking one...I know it's way to early, but it was BFN.

9dpo: I'm officially a POASA! I did it again....today. BFN...lot less symptoms today-I'm very cranky, and can't eat enough CORN (?) but I don't know if that has anything to do with a possible baby.

10dpo: I've decided to try to wait until 14 or 15dpo to use another test-but honestly, I'm fairly sure I'm not. I'm still getting tiny little cramps, but the lower back pain has gone away-this wait is so hard!

11-12dpo very little symptoms. No breast changes. BFN. Pretty sure I'm "out". Plan to test on 14dpo if AF hasn't arrived. sigh. 12dpo-I have persistent pain on my left side-too low to be O-pain, it's in almost the joint of my hip. I am breaking out a lot more than I usually do before AF...and I had some weird sticky mucus-like (lots!) stuff come out of me, but it may be leftovers from today's BD.

13 dpo-had some pinkish mucus when I wiped last night, but ocassionally I do before a period. I had menstrual cramps last night and mild ones today...I think AF is coming, but of course-like an idiot I'm still holding on to hope...until she actually arrives! Some mild nausea this AM too...which I also sometimes get right before AF, so who the heck knows. Shorttempered today.

14dpo-not a lot of symptoms-tired, and some pinching/pulling along the sides of my uterus. Starting to wonder if I spontaneously O'ed around the fullmoon, when we BDed....more pink mucus, and some brown too...

15dpo-hmmm....AF hasn't come yet. I'm wondering because it's more than 14 days after I Oed....although sometimes my period is up to two days "late". I'm teary, and my breasts are starting to hurt a bit. On the road to see my daughter, and bought a cheapie PB test just out of curiosity. Going to take it now. OMG-slight positive-so slight that it seemed to disappear in a matter of minutes...a definate squinter. But it's a blue-ink test, and I've read that they can give a false positive...off to buy some pink ink ones. Bought two pink ones. BFP!!!! Both!!! Still a little bit faint, but no mistaking it. I'm pregnant!!! I can't believe it!!!!
