Any not gained weight yet?

*ANYONE else*
my computer sucks

My midwife will be by soon and I am 2lb down from last visit. 4 lb down from prepregnancy 136, but that is 8/10 lb over my "normal" weight. I am trying to eat before she gets here but I never can eat much in the mornings, ugh

I haven't, though I'm trying to keep it that way. I was already at a heavy (for me) weight when I got pregnant (I gained a lot of weight because of a foot injury last summer). I'd rather not gain any weight until the 3rd trimester, or at least keep my 2nd trimester gain down to about 5 pounds.

The funny thing is, I've had three weigh-ins at the dr.'s office so far, and each one has been progressively later in the day (9am, 11:30, 3:15)...so according to their weigh-ins, I'm slowly gaining weight. According to my morning scale, however, I'm -2 pounds.

Nah, I haven't gained any. I'm only just about 15 weeks, but it took me quite a while to start really gaining with DD - and then it snowballed pretty quickly to an overall 35 lbs which I think was fine.

Im still losing, still gaining tummy but Im losing about 1 pound every couple weeks. Im not upset by it, I knew it was going to happen. Ive been able to get out almost every day lately, unlike the majority of winter, so the winter fat I packed back on is melting off.

Luckily my midwife asked me not to step on the doctors scales anymore this pregnancy so I dont have to hear about how I need to be making sure to gain weight for the baby... Its not like Im starving myself or excessively working out... Im eating healthy and getting out and playing with DD every day... its healthy.

Well, I have gained some, but I have not gained any (actually lost it) in the last few weeks.

I was up almost 9 lbs at 15 weeks, and now I am down to just 6 lbs over pre-pregnancy weight at 18 weeks. I am still 9 lbs under where I started with DD, so I am pretty happy.

I just hope I don't gain the 40 plus I did with DD.

I've gained 3lbs at 17 weeks. All 3 of those have been in the last 3 weeks! I'm also trying to keep the weight gain now, but I'm at that hungry all the time point now! My midwives have always said that if you are eating appropriate amounts of healthy food, what you gain is pretty irrelevant in the end. I gained 50+ with my last two, this one I really want to stay under 25lbs, I started 20lbs heavier!

i'm 13lbs down overall.
but all my MW is concerned with right now is me ingesting enough protein.
She says we'll worry about weight gain after my H/G abates somewhat.
Staying hydrated is my #1 priority.

I haven't gained yet (I know I will mostly in the last month). I was still +20 lb overweight since my last pregnancy so I don't really NEed to gain much. MW asked DH when I was out of the room if I was dieting. Dh said, no, just excersize. MW said that's fine.

I gained steadily in the 1st trimester. It actually depressed me a bit. Then I lost almost all of it, and now I've gained back about 4lbs of what I lost.

I can't quite figure it out....

I'm still down 15 and I'm the only one who seems concerned since the baby is flipping around and somehow I have a belly( it just got in the way of a hug yesterday).I'm trying to stay hydrated even though food is still mostly a miss.

With DD I had gained maybe 8 or 10 pounds at this point (14/15 weeks or so). I have not gained an ounce this time round, but I did start out about 5 lbs. over my normal weight. I'm still nursing, and with a 2-year-old I rarely get the chance to sit still, so that might have something to do with it, even though I got more exercise last pregnancy.

I have lost 10 pounds. Most of it happened when I got a stomach virus.

Down another pound this week... haven't been sick (until this morning) just losing it from exercising.

I'm about 2lb over my pre pregnancy weight, but that's probably because I didn't workout at all last week as we were out of town. I know that once I get back to boot camp (definitely modified now!) this coming week those two lb will be gone again. So far the midwife isn't concerned. I started out about 30lb over my healthy weight so I'm fine with not gaining much. I figure I'm just at the end of my 18th week so I have plenty of time to gain, plus I usually only gain about 20lb (even with twins!) so I'm probably right on track

Are you kidding? I think I had gained 10 lbs at 4 weeks (of course some of that may have been the cruise on which I got knocked up).

hopefully, I'm still at 10 lbs :-)

You all are awesome to still be so svelte.
In my case it's not that I'm svelte! It's just that I was somewhat heavy (for me) at the start.

And yeah...this baby is seriously sucking up the calories this week. No joke, yesterday I was famished (!!!) and ate about half of a local pizzaria pizza, plus a piece of deep dish. This morning on the scale? -2 pounds from the day before.

I love these weeks where the baby is gaining like crazy! She grows half an inch this week alone!! Not to mention her weight gain. Weeks 17-22 are amazing!

I'm up a total of 9, but kinda ok with it. I gained 7 between January first and 9weeks (late feb) when I quit smoking. Between weeks 9 and 14 I only gained 2.

lol yeah svelte = SO not the word for me. Im a fluffy mama. Over 200lbs to begin with... so losing 17 pounds at this point is no big deal, just means I really am taking care of myself.

Thanks mamas, really helped me not feel bad about it. My MW didn't think it was really a big deal either. I think I am just traumatized from the harassment I received in previous pregnancy from OB

it's not svelte. it's near starvation brought on by an uncontrollable urge to vomit 24hrs a day.
