Hello all!
I'm new to the community and brand-new to the whole idea of parenthood. I'm TTC my first child with my lovely husband of 5 years. We finally feel ready to be parents!
I just went off the pill (after ten years on it!) and am now slightly stressing about getting pregnant. Everyone I know, it seems, got there on their first try. For me, it's been 2 months already. Haha, I know I shouldn't be impatient, but I waited to start trying for so long, I just want it to happen already (or heck, I would have started trying sooner!!!).
I'm still trying to learn all the abbreviations you ladies use, so I hope I fit in and don't seem like a stupid newbie.
I'm a little nervous about the whole pregnancy thing, but ready to take the plunge (I think)!
