A little help please!

I will start this off by saying that we are not ECers, I wanted to be but then I just didn't so we cloth diaper. However, around 14 months, my daughter started peeing in the toilet. I thought great this is awesome and she's been doing it ever since, at least once a day I can catch it. She is now 16 1/2 months and we are having a very hard time. She refuses to go on the potty, she'll sit there and it kinda looks like she's trying but nothing comes out, and then 2 seconds later (or 10 minutes, whenever my attention is elsewhere), when I'm in the kitchen or folding laundry or anything when I'm not staring directly at her, she will pee (or poo!) on the floor. She will not keep a diaper on. As soon as I put one on she takes it right off. And I really don't want to force her to wear a diaper. Any suggestions? I honestly don't mind the pee on the floor, so I'm fine with her running around naked.

Sounds like your daughter is an ecer, even if you aren't What you are going through is very typical. My daughter has done that as well. If you don't find pee on the floor than you can keep her nakie from the waste down. having lots of little potties scattered throughout your home will allow her the opportunity to take her self if she chooses to. Dd is going through that right now, she wants to do it on her own and if I suggest it than she won't go.
Babylegs work great if it is still a little chilly. If you have any carpet a super sized bac out is great. Some days we have a bunch of pee on the floor and some days not but she isn't having to sit in her pee or poo and she knows what dry pants feel like so that was our main goal.

Oh I'm so glad that this is normal! Everyone else who I talked to told me that I was pushing the potty on her too early, and I was like its not me its her!

Alright, then we'll keep going like we've been going, I just got a couple of potties to scatter around the house, so hopefully that will help.
