I did a saliva test in January and it showed my gliadin ab levels as 'borderline'. Also, my SIgA was REALLY low. So it somewhat invalidates the gliadin level, in the sense that if my SIgA was higher, my antibody levels might be higher too. (Am I understanding this right?)
So after trying a number of other things, I started a GF diet last week.
Yesterday I just remembered that one of my HCP had ordered gliadin AB testing for me 5 years ago, so I called the office and had them look up the results. The IgA was less than 3, and the IgG was 10. Both of these are negative, but is it even significant to look at them considering it was 5 years ago? Could antibodies have developed since then?
