PInk Eye question

This might sound like a silly question but just thought I'd check.... DD and I have pink eye. I am 25 weeks pregnant and have clear colostrum at this point, DD (20 months) is still nursing. I have been able to squeeze out a little into DD's eye's. This should be effective, right? I can't think of any reason that pregnancy would render it ineffective but thought I'd check.

thanks!

I'd imagine it would be fine. While pregnant with #3 I put some colostrum on the pregnancy acne I had, and it worked as well as mature milk. I guess just keep watching for improvement/worsening of the pink eye!

Thanks! It seems to be working since her eye was MUCH better this morning. I had to laugh when she got into bed this morning and asked for , "Neenees please, no eye."

That's cute lol. I taught my Dr that you can use breast milk for pink eye when ds had it at 4 months. I was pretty happy to help him with his continuing education.
