BFP, help!

I just got a BFP on FRER and usually I would be ecstatic, but I am 14dpo and the line is faint with spotting for about 5 days. I can easily see the pink line though faint on FRER, but still the last time this happened I had an early miscarriage. I have been spotting for about 5 days, it seems like a small amount of tissue comes with some of the spotting, but it is brown usually. Yesterday I really thought flow was going to start and so I assumed I was not pregnant when my dollar store test was negative. It was pink and just about like flow was starting. So I bought a bottle of wine and had a large glass last with dinner I am so upset. I didn't even take my progesterone yesterday. I have been using 60mg of cream. I didn't take it yesterday, but last night when I went to bed, my flow hadn't fully started and I got nervous and started kicking myself for having the wine and decided to go ahead an use 40mg of cream just in case.

If this is a viable pregnancy, do you think I should take extra prog cream to make up for not using the full dose yesterday. Do you think the wine will hurt the baby....I AM SO MAD I DID THAT!!! But I had a negative test yesterday and it looked like my period was starting.

Here is my chart, do you think it possible I ovulated later than FF says.

Do you think it is possible for this to be a viable pregnancy with all this spotting and feeling like AF is going to start. I want to be happy.

1. spotting can happen in a totally healthy pregnancy
2. my bfp at 14dpo on frer was faint too. even on 15dpo it was still somewhat faint. (13dpo is the top and the other two are both 14dpo: http://canyouseealine.com/hpts/5166.jpg and this is 15dpo: http://canyouseealine.com/hpts/5182.jpg and trust me I have a perfectly healthy pregnancy! darkness of the line means NOTHING. Just that the line is there is all that matters.)
3. no, taking more progesterone today will NOT correct the lower amount from yesterday... just continue to take it as necessary.
4. the wine never got anywhere near touching that baby. I have drank in my tww with both this child and DD and both times, when I tell my doctor, her exact reaction is: Oh thats fine, just dont drink anymore. That early your placenta is not functioning so the alcohol doesnt get anywhere close to the baby to do anything to it. If anything, it helps a bit with relaxing.
5. I felt like AF was going to start until about 10 weeks along. Thats a normal healthy part of pregnancy. Sure, it doesnt help you mentally, but it really is fine!

I am not feeling sad now just cautious. The last time I had spotting I miscarried. That is what has me worried.

Anyway, I am going in for HCG and Prog levels later. Hopefully this one sticks. I am thinking I ovulated later than FF says since my thermal shift happened later....that's what I am hoping anyway.

Does anyone know if I had only one gob of EWCM on a particular day if that counts as EWCM?
if you DTD any time within 24 hours before then, not necessarily... but could be.

congratulations!

just to give you some reassurance, I had light bleeding around the time my period was due (I think from 12-16dpo), and even a big temp drop, and a bfp. I started rx prog sups very early in the pregnancy. When I missed a day I did not take the extra to make up for it. it was a viable pregnancy

How much HCG does the FRER Gold digi detect? I took another FRER and it was darker and more clear. I got my Wondfo's in the mail too which I ordered for next cycle and there was a line on it. So I am definitely preggo, but not sure if it will stick.

That is why I am curious. I got a NO on my digi and a definite positive on FRER with the lines and Wonfdo this afternoon. My FRER maybe very slightly fainter than yours was. However I used another Wondfo this evening and it was big, fat and pink. I seem to have more HCG in evening and bet my digi will say yes tomorrow. I would love to know how much HCG they detect.

I only ever have only one gob on one day. After starting epo I think I had 2 gobs in one day.

But I had gotten pg in Oct, dtd 2 days after the ewcm day. (ended in mc)

My SIL spotted through her entire pregnancy and had a normal delivery, healthy baby. (also after 1 mc).

Praying for you, TonyaW.

I would NOT worry about the wine I drank heavily several times(engagement party) (went to the bar with friends) when I was about 4 weeks pregnant and didn't know it. DD is fine a little zany, but perfectly healthy, lol.

Hang in there! I just wanted to let you know that while I got a super faint line on a FRER with FMU, the FRER Gold Digi gave me an icky -NO. The next day with SMU, I got a +YES on the FRER Gold Digi.

Good luck and congrats!
