i'm seem to be extremely sensitive to western medicines. i've recently discovered i'm extremely gluten intolerant and i wonder if that has anything to do with it. i first noticed my sensitivity when i had a Mirena IUD about 4 years ago. i went to the ER for palpations and racing heart beat and they found nothing wrong with me. i also had chronic sinus congestion and a low grade fever for months with it. my symptoms cleared up with in weeks of having it removed.
then it was another birth control which gave me sinus congestion with in a week as well. i stopped that immediately. more recently i tried Claritin and it knocked me on my butt for 3 weeks. i barely remember much during that time. my allergist was surprised because it's not supposed to do that. this morning i took my first dose of a prescription nasal spray and i'm already getting chest pains and feeling fatigued.
i've seen several cardiologist and done the works for testing. they thought i had MVP but couldn't find any signs on if. i seem to be able to tolerate tylenol and ibuprofen. is anyone else like this? could it be because of the gluten intolerance? maybe my system is just really messed up and needs to heal.
