How light is too light on a PT?

I took a PT today and one line was very strong, the other faint though obviously visible enough to be a line. I had taken one a few weeks ago and the same thing. With my first pregnancy when I took a PT the one line never did show up, so I don't think I'm doing it wrong? - For clarification... because I don't have pictures... the line is blue, just quiet faint, not exactly bold at all. So I was just wondering if this could still mean I am pregnant or if it's nothing to worry about?

From what I've heard and read..a line's a line, doesn't matter how bold or faint. So, pregnant!

With this pregnancy the second test I took weeks later was no darker..still very faint.

Get a pink test. Blue dye tests are notorious for giving lines when negative.

I wouldn't trust a blue dye test even with a confirmed pregnancy. Those tests are notorious for giving off very convincing evaps. I would pick up a FRER and test with that.

Really? Good to know. I had no idea. I'll pass this along to friends TTC.

yeah, I have seen myself way too many women heartbroken to get a positive on blue dye tests but everything else be negative and AF show on time. including a few who had quantative blood tests the day before/day of the blue dye test that came back completely negative.

If you take a pink dye and one line is faint and the other is dark, thats still positive though!

A line is a line no matter how faint.

I have heard that about blue dye tests, though (although both times I got my positive on a blue dye test). I'd say tomorrow go out and get a digital test, that way you will get a very clear result.
