Anyone "earthy" in the Tri Cities, WA area???

We moved to Richland, WA 4 months ago from the Ithaca, NY area. (cry, weep, sniffle) We haven't met anyone! I know it's a nuclear town, but there must be some "earthy" people here.......we're stuck in a sardine can in town right now, but are planting a large heirloom veggie and fruit garden and have 10 peeps coming next week. We would love to have friends to share it with.

My three boys are 6.5, 4 and 20 months. They love playing with one another, but totally need friends, as do I. We homeschool/unschool, but our friends have always been school kids......

Anyone out there?

Richland! I dont live there but I go there often. I was actually looking for other mamas last time I was there. We have an office there for my job and I go there every couple of months. It is beautiful!! Enjoy.

Wow! I'm a Tri-Cities native, currently living in Saratoga Springs, NY! We traded places, how funny is that? I'll trade back if you want! Anyway, TC is definitely a conservative area. There is a small "earthy" population (including the author of Vegan Lunch Box!), but I don't know of any groups or anything to help connect you to them. I'll need help with that myself when I move back, and I lived there for 20 years! Good luck :-)
