Anyone have 2 or more high risk pregnancies and go on to have a 3rd or beyond pregnancy that went smoothly and full term??
I have an MTHFR mutation (which can cause blood clots), plus I react strongly to stress (fluctuating bp, which doesn't show up at the doc's office, so they think I'm fine).
I had a placental abruption at 29 wks w/ds1 and he was delivered by c-section that day. I got to 30 wks w/ds2, and then my amniotic fluid bottomed out, and I landed on bedrest...and finally in the hospital. DS2 was born at 35 wks by c-section. I also had a blood clot next to the placenta at 20 wks, but it resolved on it's own. My blood pressure went wonky the last night before ds2's c-section and in the days following his birth.
If you had similar circumstances, how did things turn out w/your next pregnancy?? Just looking for some stories, good or bad.
Thanks so much!
