Throwing up because of teething?

Has anyone seen this before? I didn't think it too outlandish but my MIL, daycare runner for 27 years, said no way, teething will not cause a baby to throw up.
But all afternoon I thought my dd was teething, and then after the throw up she continued with symptoms of teething. And her gums are very sensitive. She won't really let me get in there, but it feels like a molar is trying to break through.

throwing up = indegestion too....she may have thrown up because hr tummy couldn't handle digesting all the milk she was drinking.

I wouldn't peg throwing up on teething. It entirely possible that she is BOTH teething and sick (this happenened with DS once, it was NOT fun), but I wouldn't say she's just teething... And while I don't know quite understand what you mean about "throwing up = indegestion too" generally you throw up because of indigestion of some sort, so large amounts of anything don't usually help.

I do however attribute a certain amount of diarrhea to teething. DS gets pretty loose bowels anytime he's teething heavily. I think it's because of all the extra saliva, he drools really badly too.

Hope your LO is feeling better soon!
