Good quality flannel.

The flannel at JoAnn's just doesn't hold up in family TP like the flannel of my washcloths purchased from CD retailers.

Where can I get good quality flannel that won't fall apart/pill/bleed everywhere? I hate spending the time cutting and serging only to have a marginal quality end product.

Did you try SewZanne's Fabrics? I haven't purchased any flannel from her, but I have purchased other fabrics. I thought the quality was much better than I've seen locally and I really enjoy purchasing from her. She ships really fast which is an extra bonus!

JoAnns actually has two different quality flannels...they have the lesser quality "snuggle" flannel and then the quilter's flannel. Ask them about it if you haven't seen it. It's a ton thicker and a much higher quality. That said...it has a LOT of shrinkage!!

Do you have any local quilt shops nearby? The flannel I've bought through my local independent quilt shop is super durable.
