After nearly 6 years... I'm pregnant!

We are totally surprised. DH is still figuring out that pregnancy tests (3 of them) are probably accurate.

We've been married nearly 6 years and been "trying" for about 5.

Looks like conception happened about... March 15. I'm thinking that December 15 sounds about right for a first baby. Funny... that's my birthday.

Now we're just waiting for the adoptions to finalize and for me to decide what my birth plans are (UC, Midwife, Birth Center)....

Craziness.

Something similar happened to my parents. After YEARS of trying to concieve they were finally told they couldn't have children (not sure what the official medical reason was). They adopted my sister, then my brother and than when my Mom turned 37 WHAM! She got pregnant with me. You never know I guess.

and its really very inspiring to hear this... as someone who has been trying for quite a while it reminds me that even after quite a long time people can in fact get pregnant!

Yeah, we were "diagnosed" with unexplained infertility about 3 years ago. We were contemplating trying clomid or something in a year but I guess God has other plans.

I took some fish oil and flax oil supplements along with a Fertility blend vitamin (that was probably way expired) for about a week after ovulation and I tried the "Mayan womb massage" for three or four days at the beginning of my cycle, but then forgot.

So who knows.

Weirder things have happened I guess.

My DH and were together for 3 years before we conceived DD1, and I had been assured that I was infertile...apparently God thought otherwise! We are now expecting baby number 3
