6 month growth spurt

I am currently bfing my second child, he is smack dab in the middle of the six month spurt, it literally has been weeks. He has also been on solids since 5 months(I have early eaters, both my kids have been, trust me). My issue is he is nursing round the clock and also eating food and it is like he just cannot get enough, I'm taking fenugreek, and know for a fact am producing 4 oz per breast at letdown due to my pumping one breast per morning thus getting 4 oz. We co-sleep and this is where I am getting frustrated, he will NOT let me move, he nurses all night, and I am not able to rest in one position.

This is coupled with teething is making me feel a little crazy, luckily DH is an amazing father and he took both kids last night and gave DS a bottle of frozen BM so I could lay in a different position. How long does this spurt last, with DD I don't remember specifics about her spurts. His appetite is massive, and it is sucking the life off of me right now. He is on a giant developmental spurt too, sitting up, almost crawling, massive physical leaps and bounds.

Mine never lasted that long, but ever kid is different. When he is nursing all night long can you tell if he is nursing for nurishment or just comfort nursing? My dd2 will nurse all night long if I let her (I have to wait till she is in a really deep sleep to get into a comfy position to sleep myself) and her sucking is just like that of a binky. I can tell the difference in her sucks to try and get milk and her sucks just for comfort.

Sorry I don't have any great input, but I hope things get better soon.
