"without spanking or spoiling"

Anyone read it? What do you think? I feel like I'm learning a lot and I'm only on page 40 or so. I love the whole "active listening" where you just acknowledge aloud what your child is feeling, and give them a chance to find their own solution.
Also, they mentioned how when your child is playing, say drawing or something, you want so badly to praise them in the middle of it. But sometimes it's better just to let them continue uninterupted. It helps them build a longer attention span. You can still praise them afterward. I used to interupt William a lot when he plays. Now I'm letting him focus on his own longer.

What parts did you like or dislike?

No problem sweet.

Love the heights, I xposted this to GD and someone commented taht they'd never heard of it. I guess that's why I was shocked I had no replies. I thought it was more popular. But thanks for the reply

My midwife recommended it once, but I never took her up on it.
