Gallstones

Has anyone been able to get rid of gallstones without surgery?

Such as seeing a Naturopath or through herbal medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine or Ayurvedic Medicine?

It would be great to avoid surgery if possible.

A friend of mine claims to have done that by drinking an olive oil drink each night for over a year. I am sure you can google it to get the recipe. It didn't sound pleasant to me, though, but she swears by it.

A good friend of mine just came home from a retreat to get rid of hers instead of surgery. It was expensive. Way less than surgery though!

she has been raving about it and my sil and mom both have gall stones that are giving them huge attacks right now so I got the info to pass onto them.

Hope you find something that works!

Thanks for the suggestions. It's my DH that's dealing with gallstones. He's been told that they are too big to pass. He's also worried that if he does a flush and one gets out, it might get stuck somewhere along the way. From what we've heard, this can cause more complications.

Bunnyflakes: Thanks for passing on something that worked for your friend.

Erinz: That website looks interesting. Thanks for letting me know about it. It's hopeful that your friend could avoid surgery. This site talks about breaking down the stones before they pass. I'll have to read more about it.

I just purchased products from www.gallbladderattack.com. With stones, I think the recommendation is to be on the products for three months.

Unfortunately my TCM practitioner thinks I need to wait until my Thyroid issues are cleared, so probably won't get to gallbladder for a few months.

I did the gallbladder flush and it did not help much.

I do have actual ultrasound documentation of gallstones prior to flush and after flush. I had probably 8 stones prior to flush and 4 after. Now 18 months later I have 6. There is something called sludge which can also cause issues in the gallbladder.

She passed quite a bit. She had 4 that were visible when she had a scan done at the doctor's office but said she passed many more than 4. She said many people were there to avoid surgery.
