Considering OCM - what type of oil to use?

I'm toying with the idea of using the OCM to clean my face again. I'm used to the idea from a product made by Lush called "Sweet Japanese Girl" which was essentially various oils in a solid bar form with ground almonds in it.

It was awesome, but alas now I am having to be more frugal and I am looking for an alternative.

HI there, I am not here much, I was just pocking around for some natural sunscreen ideas and saw this post and thought I would answer.

You want to use according to your skin type. If you tend to have oily skin already, you will want to use more astringent oil such as grapeseed, castor and hazelnut oils. If you tend to have dry skin, you will want to add a more moisturizing oil such as avocado and jojoba oil to the mix. Castor oil is one of the most astringent oils, what ever you chose, I would definitely include that in your mix, the percentage depends on your skin and what type of oils you are using in your mix. 10-20% for dry skin and 20-50% for oily skin. I hope that helps!
