Hey all, I am looking for anyone who has experience with the Sandra Kaplan model for teaching gifted kids (Dr. Sandra Kaplan of USC).
I went and visited a school on Wednesday that is a modified homeschool program that uses this model. I think it is very much what will work for my daughter and I want to send her there. They teach with a focus on critical and creative thinking. They actively encourage questioning attitudes and challenge the kids. Unfortunately, we can't make the committment to enroll our daughter there right now, but I am interested in any personal experiences or thoughts on teaching using this model.
