cm/bfing question

I am currently bf'ing my 22 month old and so far have not gotten af back. However, for the past several weeks (perhaps a month) I've had tons of cm, varying in color (white to yellowish). We are thinking of ttc'ing (I will be 38 soon and it took us a year to conceive DD so I don't want to wait much longer). Does this sound like I might be fertile even though I haven't had af? I know we could just start trying, but I will stress and obsess about it and I don't want to get my hopes up too early if our chances are slim at this point. Thanks!

I had a bunch of EWCM for a couple of weeks before I ov'd in my first PP cycle. So I'd say it's a good sign that things are happening for you! It still could be a little while yet, but it sounds like your body is at least thinking about gearing up!

I also get a lot of the white or yellow CM while BFing. For me it does not signal ovulation. I get a really good amount of clear EWCM for at least 1-3 days when I actually O. For me it has to be clear.
