Just looking for some light and fluffy reading for myself. It seems like almost everything i've been reading lately has dark undertones...

Night of the Avenging Blowifish is a very funny book. It is not recommended for kids due to the language and sexual situations.

A Total Waste of Makeup by Kim Gruenenfelder-Smith is one of my favorite light and funny reads. She has recently written the follow-up, Misery Loves Cabernet and it had me laughing out loud.

I tend to go in spurts of reading dark or depressing and need a fluff break sometimes. Another author I look for then is Chris Manby. Girl Meets Ape is one of her funnier ones.

The Spellman Files, oh so funny!

Sophie Kinsella is a good fluff author. She wrote Can You Keep a Secret, the Undomestic Goddess, and the Shopaholic series.

Also confessions of a shopaholic is not bad either.

Anything I've read by Christopher Moore has made me laugh . . . Fool was hilarious, very different, and it did have a very happy ending. A Dirty Job was excellent, too . . . kind of dark and strange but also funny.

Everything I've read lately has been pretty dark, I'm going to check back here for my next book!
