My neighbor is 35 years old and the mother to a 2.5 year old child. For the last six months she has been experiencing severe vertigo, hot flashes, headaches and weight gain. She has been tested extensively and there is no sign of thyroid, hormonal, neurological issues. She recently weaned off of caffeine and melatonin though I believe she still takes hormonal birth control. She is at a point where the modern medical community is treating her like her symptoms are self induced and she is a hysterical woman conjuring up an illness.
She is at her wits end and cannot drive her son due to the vertigo or do as nearly as many active things as she used to because of the range of her symptoms. She needs some answers or maybe even some new questions to ask of health care providers.
Any ideas?
