Has anyone used Before Five in a Row? Do you have any opinions? Was your experiences positive? How old was your little one and did they enjoy the rowing?

We use it! Both my kid's love it, although ds(3) is mostly interested in just the reading of the book, and dd(5) wasn't really interested in discussing things at any length until she was a little over 4. There are some books that are real hits, and others that my kid's don't care for but I think you'll find that everywhere, otherwise my kid's never minded the whole rowing a book for 5 days a week.

I had BFIAR from the library for awhile (for 3 year old twins; I had been thinking of buying it to use as they get closer to 4). I appreciated the list of good children's books, but I still had to get the books, and honestly, a lot of the activities seemed like simple common sense to me, and there aren't that many of them, and I decided there wasn't enough in the book to warrant spending the money on it.

I like it - the activities are pretty simple but my creativity has left me these days and I need the ideas. I also really like Peak With Books.
