Does anyone use cute nicknames? If so, what are they? My baby is young, but I want to develop a pooping and peeing nomenclature that feels comfortable for grandparents to use, to use anywhere in public, etc.
A friend says to her daughter "do you need to make bop-bop which is cute and kind of onomatopoetic. But I am brand new to this, and maybe there are already some "standard" nicknames floating around. I'd love to hear them!
By the way, I did a search in the archives, but couldn't find anything although I can't imagine this hasn't been discussed.
Thanks!!
Julie

My dd has recently decided that certain big potties are ok (in public) and sometimes she'll say "make a tinkle" which I guess I said one time when I was trying to convince her to go on a public potty. It definitely should be something that is easy for the little one to say, so when they get to the point of saying the word, you can easily know what they're saying!
(Although even if it were hard to say and you didn't understand it at first, you would soon enough!)
