We did the BD three days in a row..13th, 14th and 15th(Of February)..on the 15th ,I had my surge( OPK +VE), and we did the BD on 15th night...I was reading up shettles..and it says that if you want a boy..you have to abstain from BD until the day off., but we as you can see TTC both on 13th and 14th...what are the odds of us having a boy??..i know there is always a 50/50 ..but has anyone not abstained from BD before ovulation and still ended up with a boy??..I will be happy with either( in fact girl's clothings are much more fun!!)..but DH lost his father recently and I know he would love to name this child after his dad...

BTW, I got my first barely +ve BFP on 27th of feb.

15th was a full moon..so I was reading up somewhere that a full moon sways the odds towards a boy..who know all these things..but it sure fun guessing

We DTD for 2 days before O and the day of. 9 months (well 9.5 months!) later our little guy was born. I'm not sure what the stats are on Shettles but I'd say you still have a good chance of having a boy. GL!

According to all studies I have seen... you have about a 50% chance of a boy and a 50% chance of a girl. No matter your timing, its about the same, maybe off by 3-5% but that's not nearly enough to make a difference.
