My DD wants a purple birthday cake, HELP!

My dd turns 3 tomorrow and I put it off and now I need to make a cake. She said she wants a purple cake. Now how do I do that? Any good recipes to share that are vegan as we are allergic to eggs and dairy? And I don't want to use any artificial dyes. Thanks!

Make a basic white cake and add blueberry jam or crushed blueberries to turn it purple.

DD had a purple frosted cake for her 3nd birthday, i just used blueberry juice to color it.

If you smash and boil down some blueberries and puree they will turn a white cake VERY purple. I have some beet coloring and have added it with some blueberry jam to turn frosting purple.

I'm sure this is too late, but elderberry juice will dye anything the most beautiful shade of purple. I'm guessing grape or blueberry will be easier to find, though.
