What color should I paint my schoolroom? - Page 2

I thought this was pretty cool and wanted to share. If you go to behr.com you can 'paint' a sample room or your uploaded pic of your room online with sample colors to see kinda sorta what it might look like. My dd played with this for quite awhile.

Guess what!? I decided to see if we could salvage the orange paint and turn it into something else! I thought, yellow and blue makes green, and red and yellow make orange, so what if I mix orange with blue and green? The result is a sort of funky hippy green and I think I like it and it's going on the walls! Of course only a homeschool momma could turn a paint disaster into a science and art less and involve the children by teaching them about mixing primary and secondary colors, etc and then mixing the finished product onto the walls with our hands to see the result, determining if we needed a little more of this or that! My dh was quite baffled when he got home to see me painting the walls green, you should have seen his face! HA! "Where did you...how did you...?" Who knew you could get green from a big can of orange paint?
Well, I better get back to my brush and roller!
